TaxMover

Why we built TaxMover

Moving between countries can change how your income, investments and compensation are taxed. TaxMover was created to provide concrete tax guidance before important decisions are made.

Why we built TaxMover

Moving from one country to another can significantly change how your income, bonuses, investments, benefits, stock options and personal obligations are taxed.

For years, this kind of guidance was mainly available to senior executives in company-sponsored international assignments, supported by large organizations and specialized advisors.

But global mobility has changed. Today, many professionals move, work or invest across borders by personal choice, often without a clear view of the tax implications.

TaxMover was created to bring that expert judgment earlier into the process: concrete, timely and easy-to-understand tax guidance to help people make better decisions, anticipate risks, and discuss or negotiate with their employer on a clearer basis.

Because international mobility is not just a change of country. It can affect tax residence, tax burden, payroll, investments, social security and total compensation.

From experience to product

In 2008, Rodrigo Herrera Ávila created the Global Employer Services practice at Deloitte Chile, focused on advising senior executives, professionals and expatriate employees in international mobility processes to and from Chile.

Over more than 15 years, that experience shaped a people-centered way of working: understanding not only the tax rules, but also the employment, family, financial and executive context behind each move.

That is the foundation of TaxMover: turning real international tax experience into a modern, simple and useful tool for people who need clarity before making important decisions.
